What Is Invisalign®?
Invisalign is an orthodontic option that allows the wearer to subtly straighten their teeth. It can correct a variety of issues ranging from mildly crooked teeth and small gaps to overcrowding and misaligned bites. It consists of a series of clear aligners that slowly and gently reposition your teeth. Over the course of your treatment, your teeth will move closer to their ideal positions. The Invisalign® Process
Once you’ve determined with our team that Invisalign is the best treatment option for your needs, we will get started by taking images and x-rays of your teeth. We are able to take detailed 3D images of your teeth, which we use to design your treatment plan and visualize the results. We will send this information to the lab to have your aligners created. After your aligners arrive in our office, you’ll visit us again to make sure they fit properly. You’ll go home with this set and wear them for at least 22 hours each day, taking them out to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Every few weeks, you’ll change to a new set of aligners. Each new set moves your teeth a little more. You’ll also visit our office every couple of months to allow our team to check your progress and make any adjustments needed. During these appointments, we’ll also provide you with your next few aligner tray sets. After an average of 18 to 24 months, you’ll have a perfectly aligned smile!Are You A Candidate For Invisalign®?
